Hi Guys,

Today I am going to show a PHP function to create good quality seo urls. Its a very easy method to do.

The function is:

function CreateUrl($str, $options = array()){
$str = mb_convert_encoding((string)$str, ‘UTF-8’, mb_list_encodings());
$defaults = array(
‘delimiter’ => ‘-‘,
‘limit’ => null,
‘lowercase’ => true,
‘replacements’ => array(),
‘transliterate’ => false,
);
$options = array_merge($defaults, $options);

$char_map = array(
‘À’ => ‘A’, ‘Á’ => ‘A’, ‘Â’ => ‘A’, ‘Ã’ => ‘A’, ‘Ä’ => ‘A’, ‘Å’ => ‘A’, ‘Æ’ => ‘AE’, ‘Ç’ => ‘C’,

How to call this function?

First you need to declare or define this function and then whenever you need to call it you simply need to put the following code. I am showing you with an example so you can understand it easily.

$url = CreateUrl(“Your Title will go here”);
print $url;

This piece of code will call the function named CreateUrl by passing a parameter which is “Your Title will go here” and will give you the output as follow.

http://www.example.com/your-title-will-go-here

Simply copy paste the code and enjoy.

Any questions, comments, suggestions please feel free to write me.
